All profits from this event will go to The Women’s Wellbeing and Development Foundation (WWD-F), a non-profit organization empowering women and children to achieve personal growth and the comprehensive development of their communities. WWD-F supports local and international women-run projects and creates model programs in the areas of education, health, and economic development.

WWD-F is partnering with the Asheville Housing Authority, Asheville Parks & Recreation, and local organizations to offer Free Classes and Workshops to individuals and families living in public housing neighborhoods of Asheville. The classes and workshops are held within the neighborhood, and focus on enhancing healthy lifestyles of the participating children and adults, and of the community as a whole.

Annunaki Live*
The Annunaki first arrived on Earth probably 450,000 years ago, seeking an exotic beat to facilitate their trance states. Eventually we came to call them by many names, such as “the Nephilim” in Genesis, or simply “gods”. Whichever they are, they genetically engineered Homo Sapiens as perfect biological machines for dancing by crossing extraterrestrial genes with those of Homo erectus. Still incomplete, the machines required new patterns and rhythms to function to their fullest potential. So the “gods” searched, and waited, eventually finding the patterns and rhythms in Goa, India, where they studied and recorded these new patterns of mental concentration. Now their research has come to a close as the Annunaki prepare to enact their creations. Are they gods of good, or gods of evil?

Herbivore
Herbivore is a strange but friendly mutant life form who arrived from the near future in the late Nineties, just in time to play classic ambient and trance tracks for a dorm room full of spaced-out kids. Although able to blend in with the people around him, on a cellular level he is believed to be composed of tofu, comic books, and old vinyl records. Herbivore has mixed numerous styles of electronic music over the years, guided by an insatiable desire for novelty and a pathetically short attention span. Lately, when not studying clinical psychology, he plays morning trance, deep ambient, squidgy psydub, and atmospheric drum ‘n’ bass.

Fuzz
Based in the Triad, the Fuzz is one half of neo-Goa production team Annunaki and a veteran DJ and producer in his own right. His sets feature lush grooves, deep soundscapes, and haunting melodies that incite emotion while driving the dancefloor.”
